Customer receipt: 80mm thermal with Veri*Factu QR

Updated: 2026-05-25

Customer receipt

Also known as: ticket, customer ticket, ticket del cliente, simplified invoice, factura simplificada, thermal receipt, ticket Veri*Factu.

When a ticket closes, brasio prints a customer receipt in 80mm thermal format. The receipt is generated server-side after Verifacti signs the fiscal record, so it includes the Veri*Factu QR code, the AEAT caption, and the unique fiscal identifier.

What's on the receipt

In order, top to bottom:

  • Venue logo (if configured under Admin → Marca).
  • Venue name, NIF, address.
  • Ticket number and date / time of close.
  • Server name (the employee who closed the ticket).
  • Customer name (if attached).
  • Table label (or Barra for bar tabs).
  • Line items — name, size, modifiers, quantity, line total.
  • Subtotal, VAT breakdown per rate, Total (VAT included).
  • Payment method(s) — Cash / Card / Voucher / Points, with amount each.
  • Loyalty points earned (if the customer has consent).
  • VERI*FACTU QR code — links to the AEAT consultation page where the customer can verify the receipt.
  • AEAT captionFactura verificable en la sede electrónica de la AEAT.
  • Fiscal hash / signature reference — proves the receipt was submitted to AEAT.

Why the QR matters

The QR is the customer's link to the AEAT consultation portal. Anyone with a phone camera can scan and confirm the receipt exists in AEAT's records — this is what makes Veri*Factu a customer-trust feature, not just a tax compliance one.

See Veri*factu in brasio: overview for the full picture of the fiscal layer.

When the receipt prints

After payment, brasio:

  1. Submits the closing fiscal record to Verifacti.
  2. Waits up to 3 seconds for the signed response (Esperando VERI*FACTU).
  3. Generates the receipt PDF including the QR.
  4. Sends the PDF to the browser, which opens it for printing on the default thermal printer.

If Verifacti is slow (rare, but possible), the receipt still prints — but the QR may show a pending state until the submission completes.

Reprint a customer receipt

From Admin → Tickets (closed tickets browser), find the ticket and tap Reimprimir ticket. The PDF re-opens for printing — the underlying fiscal record is not modified (you can't change a closed ticket). See Browse and reprint closed tickets.

Email a copy

The till's standard close flow prints; emailing a copy to a customer is not automatic today. If a customer asks, screenshot or print-to-PDF on the till and email manually — or use the closed-tickets browser to download the PDF and send it.

A note on full invoices vs simplified receipts

The 80mm thermal receipt is a factura simplificada (simplified invoice) under Spanish tax law, valid up to €400. For higher amounts or business customers requesting a full invoice (with NIF and trading name), brasio supports issuing a factura completa — see Invoices and receipts.

Not working?

  • No QR on the receipt: Verifacti hasn't responded (yet). The receipt is still valid; the QR fills in once Verifacti confirms. Use the closed-tickets reprint after a minute or two to get a receipt with the QR.
  • Receipt isn't printing: check the printer setup. See Printer not printing.
  • Customer wants the receipt in English: today receipts use the venue's primary locale. Talk to us if multilingual receipts are important for your audience.
