Reservations: bookings, walk-ins and time-slot capacity

Reservations

Also known as: reservas, bookings, table booking, sitting, time-slot capacity.

brasio manages table reservations directly on the till. You can register a walk-in booking by phone, accept inbound bookings from a public link, control capacity per time slot, and send the customer a confirmation email with a calendar invite. When the customer arrives, you seat them — opening a tab on a table from inside the reservation.

Where to find them

On the terminal, go to Admin → Reservas (route /admin/reservas). The next 2-hour window also appears as a chip on the floor plan home for quick reference.

The reservations list

The list of reservations for a chosen day shows:

  • Personas — party size.
  • Nombre — customer name (or Sin cliente if anonymous).
  • Hora — booking time.
  • Teléfono and Correo — contact info.
  • Origen — source (manual, Resos, GBP booking link).
  • Nota — any special request.

Tabs along the top: Hoy · Próximas · Todas. Filter chips: Confirmadas · Sentadas · No-show · Canceladas. Search by name.

Create a manual reservation

  1. Tap Nueva reserva.
  2. Fill in Fecha, Hora, Comensales, Nombre del cliente, Teléfono (opcional), Email (opcional), Notas (opcional).
  3. Tick Enviar email de confirmación al cliente if you want brasio to email a confirmation with an .ics calendar invite.
  4. Crear reserva.

If the time slot is full, brasio rejects with Ese hueco está lleno — prueba otra hora. Managers can override the slot check.

Edit a reservation

Tap Editar on a booking. The fields above are the same. Guardar cambios applies.

Seat a customer

When the customer arrives:

  1. Find them in the list (today's tab; or search by name).
  2. Tap Sentar.
  3. Pick a free table (optional — you can seat without assigning a table).
  4. brasio opens a tab on that table linked to the reservation.

The booking status moves to Sentada. Mark No-show if they don't turn up, or Cancelar if they cancel.

Time-slot capacity

Each venue configures how many covers can be seated per slot (15-, 30- or 60-minute windows). The slot rule is what makes a booking attempt fail with slot_full. The capacity is managed under Admin → Reservas → Política (reservation policy).

Public booking link

brasio supports an inbound booking flow over a public link — typically used as the Reserva una mesa button on Google Business Profile or your website. The link lets a customer pick a time, party size, and contact details, and the booking lands in the same Reservas list as a Confirmada with origin GBP/web.

Resos integration (Triple Brew specific)

Triple Brew specifically has a live integration with Resos.com. Bookings made on Resos sync into brasio every 60 seconds and appear in the reservations list with origin Resos. Resos remains the customer-facing booking widget; brasio is where staff seat, mark no-show, or cancel. Other brasio tenants are not on Resos today — talk to us if you want it set up.

Confirmation email and .ics

When you tick Enviar email de confirmación al cliente on creation:

  • Customer receives an HTML confirmation with date, time, party size, venue name, and address.
  • Attached is an .ics file the customer can drop into their calendar.
  • A follow-up reminder is not sent today — your call whether to chase manually.

Not working?

  • Slot says full but the floor looks empty: check Política de reservas — capacity is per slot, not per seat, so a 19:30 slot can be full even if the venue has empty tables (the kitchen needs runway between sittings).
  • No-show button is missing: the booking is already in a terminal state (Cancelada or Sentada). Walk-in customers don't go through the no-show flow.
  • Resos bookings haven't appeared: the 60-second poll may be behind. Pull the Actualizar to force refresh. If Resos is showing the booking but brasio isn't, contact us.
  • The customer says they didn't get the email: check the email field for typos, and that the Enviar email toggle was on when you created the reservation. Resend by editing and re-saving.
